The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

4 Stars! This story is so sad so I hope you like to cry. The story does move slowly but if you like WWII fiction this movie is well worth the wait. Its a very touching tale of friendship but more important it examines what really makes us different.Who was really guilty? Does it matter in  the end?

The Summory according to Netflix:
When his family moves from their home in Berlin to a strange new house in Poland, young Bruno (Asa Butterfield) befriends Shmuel (Jack Scanlon), a boy who lives on the other side of the fence, where everyone seems to be wearing striped pajamas. Unaware of Shmuel's fate as a Jewish prisoner or the role his own Nazi father plays in his imprisonment, Bruno embarks on a dangerous journey inside the camp's walls.

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Book 1

Great for the whole family! I give it 5 stars. Fun, adventurous, with lots of hummer. There is some violence so caution for parents who aren't into fight scenes. Over all its a touching story about facing a challenge while living to the fullest.

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Book 1summarized by Netflix:
"In the first book of the Avatar saga, two siblings discover a boy named Aang who's been frozen in a block of ice. But the minute they thaw him out -- and the world learns he's the Avatar they've been waiting for -- his destiny takes a dizzying turn. With a crop of new friends, instant celebrity status and the ruthless Fire Nation on his tail, can a 12-year-old boy stay the course on saving the world?"
